Karen is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. She is also a member of the College of Sound Healing, and the international community of Flow Game hosts.
With over 20 years clinical experience working with individuals and groups, Karen has developed a unique approach integrating Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing ®, EMDR, Brainspotting, Sound Therapy, Biofield Tuning and the Flow Game. She also works with the arts therapeutically.
Karen hosts conversations for individuals in all kinds of distress. She does this in three main areas:
1. Relief and recovery from the symptoms of stress, trauma and PTSD
2. 'Life support' sessions for everyday issues without the longer commitment of psychotherapy
3. Helps raise client vibrations with sound and energy sessions.
Karen's clinical experience includes six years as a member of London Underground’s Counselling and Trauma Service, and the role of Clinical Lead at Khiron House trauma recovery centre. Karen has worked with ex British Military and special services personnel, London Underground’s train drivers, Police Officers, Firefighters and Paramedics, in addition to many members of the general public.
When Karen isn’t working, her passion for both art and nature finds her either in a gallery or in her garden. Karen writes poetry, plays Gongs, and lives happily with her canine companions.
